The Cloze Deletion feature allows users to hide learnings in an e-book and replace them with underlines. It is specifically designed for Cloze Exercises in English learning. This method enhances reading comprehension, vocabulary retention, and grammar application by removing key words or phrases from a text and requiring learners to fill in the missing information based on context.
Cloze exercises are an effective language learning method. By removing parts of the text, learners are encouraged to actively think and reconstruct the missing information, thereby strengthening their language skills.
Limitations
- This feature is only available for text-based books.
- PDF files are not supported.
How to Enable
To enable the Cloze Deletion feature, follow these steps:
- Open the e-book you want to read.
- Tap the
icon in the navigation bar to access the Cloze Deletion settings. If the icon is not visible, tap the 
button, then select Cloze Deletion.
- Toggle the switch to On to activate the Cloze Deletion feature.
Revealing Hidden Content
Tap the underlined area to reveal the original text.
