Speed Reading is a feature designed to help users increase their reading speed and comprehension. By rapidly displaying text word by word or sentence by sentence, it trains the eyes and brain to process information more efficiently. This method is based on Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) technology, where words flash one by one at the center of the screen, reducing eye movement and improving reading flow.
Speed Reading is especially useful for those who need to process large amounts of text quickly, whether for study or work. It significantly enhances productivity and serves as an ideal tool for improving efficiency.
Limitations
- This feature is only available for text-based books.
- PDF files are not supported.
How to Enable
To enable Speed Reading, follow these steps:
- Open the e-book you want to read.
- Tap the
icon in the navigation bar to access the Speed Reading settings. If the icon is not visible, tap the More button 
, then select Speed Reading.
- Toggle the switch to On to activate Speed Reading.
Settings and Options
- Speed (WPM) – Defines the number of words displayed per minute (Words Per Minute). A higher value increases the speed at which words appear, accelerating reading pace.
- Words per Display – Controls how many words are shown at a time.
With these settings, users can adjust Speed Reading to match their reading goals and optimize their reading experience.
